There are now exactly two months to go before the opening of the European Aquatics Championships, the most important event of the European Aquatics calendar, which will be followed by a Masters competition for all disciplines, including water polo.

To mark this special occasion, European Aquatics is delighted to reveal the logos for both events.

The logo is the first practical implementation of the new European Aquatics identity, integrating a local touch with the flag shape of the lane lines and the three red, white, and blue dots representing the colours of the Serbian flag.

The 37th edition of the flagship event runs from 10-23 June and will gather Europe’s elite athletes in pool swimming, diving, open water, and artistic swimming. It will serve as a final chance to qualify for Paris 2024 with the qualification period for swimming ending on 23 June, the final day of competition in Belgrade.

It will be the first time Serbia has hosted the European Aquatics Championships, a little under a year after they staged the European Junior Swimming Championships for the third time following 2008 and 2011.

The senior championships will be followed by the European Aquatics Masters Championships Belgrade 2024 which will take place from 26 June to 6 July, featuring the same disciplines plus water polo, giving the opportunity to all branches of the aquatics’ family to engage with the event.
