EUROPEAN AQUATICS ANNOUNCES KEY DETAILS FOR 2024 EUROPEAN MASTERS AQUATICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

European Aquatics is delighted to announce key information about the 2024 European Aquatics Masters Championships which take place in Belgrade, Serbia.

The 19th edition run for 11 days from 26 June to 6 July and will comprise swimming, diving, water polo, artistic swimming and open water.

There are details of competition programmes as well as the dates of technical and team leaders meetings.

Also included are key deadlines with registration for the event open until 31 May 2024 plus information regarding accommodation and transportation.

European Aquatics President Antonio Silva said: “You will find in this bulletin, all the key facts and information to allow you to plan and organise your participation.

Qualification times for swimming have been published with a limit of five events per person and two maximum per day for pool swimmers.

There is no limit on the number of events athletes can enter in open water swimming.

Pool training is available on 24/25 June with the Technical Masters Committee Meeting taking place on 24 June and the technical meeting the following day.

The team leaders meeting will take place at 11am on 25 June at the Sports Center Milan Gale Muskatirovic.

Competition starts on 26 June with the men’s and women’s 800m freestyle and concludes on 1 July with the men’s and women’s 100m freestyle.

Water polo training commences on 25 June with the technical meeting held on the same day.

The team leaders meeting will take place on 25 June at 3pm at the Sports Center 11 April. Competition runs from 26 June to 3 July.

Diving training will take place on 26/27 June with a technical meeting to be held on the first day.

The team leaders meeting will take place at the Serbian Institute of Sports and Sports Medicine on 27 June at 3pm.

Competition gets underway on 28 June with the men’s 3m springboard age 40-80 and the women’s 1m springboard age 25-80.

It concludes on 3 July when the 10m platform individual and synchro competitions will be contested. Training days for artistic swimming run on 27 and 28 June with a technical meeting to be held on the former.

The team leaders meeting will take place at 3pm at the Tasmajdan Pool on 28 June.

Competition commences on 29 June with the solo female and male technical and finishes on 3 July with the mixed duet free and free combination.

The open water technical meeting will take place on 2 July with the team leaders meeting the same day at 5pm at Lake Ada Ciganlija.

Training is available on 3 July with competition getting underway the following day with the men’s and women’s 1.5km for all age categories before concluding on 6 July.
