Belgrade 2024: Mascot represents the colours of the water

European Aquatics – together with the Serbian Swimming Federation – is proud to unveil the mascot for the European Aquatics Championships Belgrade 2024.

The 37th edition of the continental championships run from June 10-23 and comprise artistic swimming, open water, pool swimming and diving.

It is the first time Serbia will stage the event after hosting the European Junior Championships in 2008, 2011 and 2023.

The mascot represents the Sava and Danube rivers that run through Belgrade.

It comes in two colours with Sava emerald green and the Danube light blue, representing the colours of the water.

The Serbian Swimming Federation said: “Just as the Sava and the Danube unite in one, and form a powerful force of nature in the heart of Belgrade, our mascot represents the coming together of athletes, national teams, and fans from across Europe.”
